About Pasithea caerulea (Ruiz & Pav.) D.Don

Pasithea caerulea is a herbaceous species in the plant family Asphodelaceae. It is native to Peru and Chile, which are located in South America. This species is the only member of the monotypic genus Pasithea. It is also the only species of Asphodelaceae that is native to Chile. Within Chile, its distribution ranges from the Antofagasta region to the Los Lagos region.
