About Parosteodes fictiliaria (Guenée)
Parosteodes is a monotypic moth genus in the family Geometridae, which was described by Warren in 1895. The genus contains only one species: Parosteodes fictiliaria, commonly known as the dodonaea moth. This species was first described by Achille Guenée in 1857. It is found in Australia, specifically on Lord Howe Island, and in the Australian states of New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria. The wingspan of Parosteodes fictiliaria is about 20 mm.
