Paronychia drummondii, commonly known as Drummond's nailwort, is a flowering plant species belonging to the family Caryophyllaceae. It is native to the United States, where it is only found in the South Central region, specifically in the states of Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. Its natural habitat consists of sandy woodlands and sandy openings. Paronychia drummondii is an erect annual or biennial plant. Its leaves range in shape from oblong to linear-lanceolate. A defining key feature of this species is the abundance of uniform hooked hairs located at the base of its calyx. It produces flowers from late spring through fall.
