About Parmotrema austrosinense (Zahlbr.) Hale

Parmotrema austrosinense (Zahlbr.) Hale is a widely distributed lichen species that belongs to the Parmeliaceae family. Austrian botanist Alexander Zahlbruckner first formally described this species under the genus Parmelia in 1930. Mason Hale reclassified it, transferring the species to the Parmotrema genus in 1974.
