Parantica aspasia, the species described here, has a wingspan that ranges from approximately 60 to 75 mm, or 2.4 to 3.0 inches. Individuals of this butterfly species have bluish grey wings, featuring a relatively large, bright yellow basal patch and black markings. This species can be found in Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Langkawi, western Malaysia, Singapore, Borneo, Java, Bali, and the Philippines. It is considered probably extinct in Singapore. These butterflies primarily live in forested habitats.
