About Paranotoreas brephosata Walker, 1862
This species is Paranotoreas brephosata Walker, 1862. Hudson provided the following description of the species. The wingspan measures approximately 1 inch. The fore-wings are dark grey, with a wavy black line located close to the wing base. Two additional similar wavy black lines enclose a very broad central area, which has a black dot positioned slightly above the center. Beyond this central area, there is a more or less distinct wavy band that is pale grey or brown. Near the termen, there are several obscure, wavy blackish lines. The hind-wings are bright orange, with grey dots near the base and dorsum. They have between two and four more or less distinct, wavy black transverse lines, which are generally rather narrow. The termen has a moderately broad black border.
