Otiorhynchus armadillo (Rossi, 1792) is a species of broad-nosed weevil that falls into the family Curculionidae, subfamily Entiminae. This species is primarily found in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Romania, Slovenia, and Switzerland. Otiorhynchus armadillo is polyphagous, and is classified as a serious pest of horticultural and ornamental plants. Soil-dwelling larvae of this species feed on the roots of a wide range of host plants, while adult weevils feed on leaves. Adult individuals reach a body length of 7–12 millimetres (0.28–0.47 inches). They have a black body, with distinct longitudinal grooves running across the surface of their elytra.
