Scientific name: Oryba kadeni Schaufuss, 1870. Description: This species has a wingspan of 102–116 mm. It is a large, heavy-bodied, large-eyed moth. Its upperside is bright green, and its underside is orange. The marginal band on the forewing upperside is strongly convex. Female forewings are much more rounded than male forewings. Distribution: This species ranges from Central America, including Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, and possibly Belize, south to Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, and French Guiana.
