Orthetrum caffrum (Burmeister, 1839), commonly known as the two-striped skimmer or white-lined skimmer, is a dragonfly species belonging to the family Libellulidae. It has been recorded in Angola, Cameroon, Chad, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe; its presence is possible but unconfirmed in Burundi and Gambia. Its confirmed natural habitats include subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, rivers, shrub-dominated wetlands, freshwater springs, and alpine wetlands.
