Organopoda carnearia Walker, 1861, a moth species, has a wingspan measuring roughly 27 to 36 mm. Its body is pinkish-rufous with a fuscous tinge. The frons is bright chestnut in color, while the vertex of the head and the antenna shaft are whitish. On the forewings, a fuscous fascia runs below the costa. Three irregularly waved fuscous lines are present: antemedial, postmedial, and submarginal. The postmedial and submarginal lines are bent inwards below vein 2. A dark speck is present on the discocellular area of the forewings. The hindwings have a fuscous, white-edged annulus at the end of the cell, plus an irregularly waved postmedial line. The ventral side of the moth is pinkish.
