About Oocatochus rufodorsatus (Cantor, 1842)

Oocatochus is a genus of snakes belonging to the family Colubridae. This genus contains only one species: Oocatochus rufodorsatus. This species is commonly known as the frog-eating rat snake, or the red-backed rat snake. It is distributed across East Asia, specifically in eastern China, Korea, and Russia. While the Reptile Database lists Taiwan as part of its range, this occurrence is not supported by other sources.
