About Onitis alexis Klug, 1835

Onitis alexis, commonly known as the bronze dung beetle, is a species of dung beetle belonging to the family Scarabaeidae. It is endemic to Africa, Syria, Spain, Tunisia and Greece. This species was intentionally introduced to Australia, and has become established in the warmer regions of northern Australia. It also occurs in Oceania.
