Oenothera simulans, commonly known as southern beeblossom, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Onagraceae. This species is native to the Bahamas and the southeastern region of the United States. It is an annual plant that can grow up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) in height. It favors sandy soils, and can be found growing in dunes, open woodlands, fields, and roadsides.
