About Oedera genistifolia (L.) Anderb. & K.Bremer
Oedera genistifolia (L.) Anderb. & K.Bremer is a small, erect shrublet that grows up to 60 cm high. Its leaves grow densely packed along the stems; each leaf is small at up to 15 mm long, thin at up to 3 mm wide, straight, and suberect. Leaves are usually mucronate, with a short point (called a mucro) at the tip that is typically slightly hooked downwards. They are slightly furry along their margins and lower midrib, and their leaf surfaces are glandular. Young leaves have a slightly sticky surface. This species produces yellow flowerheads that appear in Spring. The flowerheads measure 10 mm wide, and are borne on short stalks that are 2 to 10 mm long.
