Notocrypta curvifascia, commonly known as the restricted demon, is a butterfly species that belongs to the family Hesperiidae. This species is commonly found across many regions of temperate and tropical East Asia, Indonesia, and the Indian subcontinent. Adult individuals of this butterfly are relatively small among butterflies, reaching approximately 4 cm in length. Their wings range in color from dark brown to black, and they have a white eyespot located near the trailing end of the wing.
