Notiothemis jonesi, commonly known as the eastern forestwatcher, Jones' forestwatcher, or eastern elf, is a dragonfly species belonging to the family Libellulidae. This species is distributed across the region stretching from South Africa to Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, and Zambia, and its range also includes Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Tanzania. Its natural habitats are pools and swamps located within subtropical or tropical forests, and it is not found in lowland areas.
