Nothocasis sertata is a moth species that belongs to the family Geometridae. This moth occurs across large areas of Europe, with its primary distribution in Central Europe. It can be found at altitudes as high as 1,400 meters. The wingspan of adult Nothocasis sertata ranges from 26 to 30 mm. Adult moths are active and in flight from August to October each year. The larvae of this species feed on two maple species: Acer pseudoplatanus and Acer campestre. Larvae of Nothocasis sertata are present in May and June. The species survives the winter overwintering stage in the egg stage of its life cycle.
