Niphona picticornis is a species of beetle that belongs to the family Cerambycidae. This species was first formally described by Étienne Mulsant in the year 1839. It has an extensive distribution across the continent of Europe. Its known host food plants include Euphorbia dendroides, Castanea sativa, Pistacia terebinthus, Pistacia lentiscus, and Phoenix canariensis. Niphona picticornis also serves as a host for the parasitic wasp species Xorides propinquus.
