Nepeta grandiflora M.Bieb. is a flowering plant species that belongs to the mint family Lamiaceae, and it is native to the Caucasus. This plant is a clump-forming, erect deciduous herbaceous perennial. It grows up to 75 cm (30 inches) tall and spreads to 30 cm (12 inches) wide. It has aromatic, slightly hairy, grey-green leaves, and produces spikes of purple-blue flowers in early summer. Both the species and its cultivars are widely cultivated as ornamental garden plants, and they work well when planted in the middle of a full-sun flower border. The cultivar 'Bramdean' has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
