About Neotrichura nigripes Heylaerts, 1890

Neotrichura is a monotypic moth genus, meaning it contains only one species, that belongs to the subfamily Arctiinae. Herbert Druce erected this genus in 1896. The only species in the genus is Neotrichura nigripes, which was first described by Franciscus J. M. Heylaerts in 1890. This species can be found in Panama, as well as in the Brazilian states of Paraná and Rio de Janeiro.
