About Neogurelca himachala Butler

Neogurelca himachala, commonly called the crisp-banded hawkmoth, is a moth species belonging to the family Sphingidae. It has been recorded in Nepal, north-eastern India, south-western, central and eastern China (including Tibet), northern Thailand, Taiwan, North Korea, South Korea and Japan. The wingspan of this moth measures approximately 34 to 48 mm. Its larvae have been documented feeding on Paederia foetida in India, and on other Paederia species in China.
