Neoconocephalus retusus, commonly known as the round-tipped conehead, is a species of katydid (also called bush cricket) that belongs to the family Tettigoniidae. This species is native to the eastern United States and southern Canada. Adult round-tipped coneheads measure between 37 and 52 millimeters in total length. They are most commonly found in wet grassy and weedy habitats during the months of August, September, and October.
