About Nemoria bistriaria Hübner, 1818
Nemoria bistriaria Hübner, 1818, commonly known as the red-fringed emerald or two-striped emerald, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. Its distribution ranges from New Brunswick south to Florida, west to the Central Coast of California, and north to Ontario. This species has an approximate wingspan of 22 mm. Adult moths are active from March to October in the southern part of its range, and from May to August in the northern part. Nemoria bistriaria produces at least two generations each year.
