Nehalennia pallidula, commonly known as the Everglades sprite, is a damselfly species that belongs to the family Coenagrionidae. This species is endemic to the United States, and within the country, it has only been recorded in Florida and Texas. Its natural habitats are swamps and freshwater marshes. Nehalennia pallidula is threatened by habitat loss caused by water diversion, peat fires, and invasive species. It is difficult to detect at low rates because of its preference for dense vegetation and its small size.
