About Narcissus assoanus Dufour ex Schult. & Schult.f.
Narcissus assoanus, commonly called the rush-leaf jonquil, is a perennial bulbous plant. It is native to Spain and France, and is currently naturalized in Turkey. This species grows to a height of 15 cm (6 in), and produces yellow flowers that carry a light lemony scent. Two subspecies are recognized: N. assoanus subsp. assoanus and N. assoanus subsp. praelongus.
