About Nacaduba beroe (C.Felder & R.Felder, 1865)

Nacaduba beroe, commonly known as the opaque six-line blue, is a species of lycaenid butterfly that occurs in South and Southeast Asia. This species was first formally described by Cajetan Felder and Rudolf Felder in 1865. For Nacaduba beroe specimens described by the Fldr. authors, the blackish-brown marginal spots on the underside of the wings are rather small, and have an intense white border along their proximal edge. The yellow halo surrounding the subanal eyespot extends further toward the apex of the hindwing.
