Mythimna riparia (Rambur, 1829) is a moth species that belongs to the family Noctuidae. This species can be found in Morocco, southern Europe, Turkey, Israel, Syria, and Turkmenistan. Adult Mythimna riparia are active between March and May, and again between September and October each year. There are two generations of Mythimna riparia produced per year. The larvae of this species feed on a range of grasses, including species from the Calamagrostis genus, as well as low-growing herbaceous plants from the Vicia and Trifolium genera.
