Myrmecia rufinodis is a species of Australian ant that belongs to the genus Myrmecia. This species is native to Australia, where it is commonly found in South Australia. The species was first described by Fredrick Smith in 1858. Adult worker ants of Myrmecia rufinodis measure around 16 to 20 millimetres in length. Mature queens measure 22 to 24 millimetres, while males measure around 17 to 19 millimetres. The head and thorax are either black or blackish brown. The mandibles, antennae, and tarsi are yellow, and the legs are reddish-yellow.
