Myrmecia fuscipes Clark, 1951 is an Australian ant species that belongs to the genus Myrmecia, and is native to Australia. This species has been frequently observed across South Australia and Western Australia. The average body length of a worker Myrmecia fuscipes is 20 to 21 millimetres. The head and gaster of this ant are black, while the antennae, thorax, node, and other features are yellowish-red. The mandibles are yellow, the anterior legs are light brown, and the middle and posterior pairs of legs are dark brown. In some individuals, the dark brown leg colour can range to an almost black shade.
