The Bornean whistling thrush, with the scientific name Myophonus borneensis Slater, 1885, is a bird species that belongs to the Muscicapidae family. It is endemic to the island of Borneo, and occurs in Indonesia and Malaysia. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. On average, Bornean whistling thrushes lay clutches of approximately 2 eggs, which they incubate for around 18 days. Their nesting period lasts 24 days. This species is threatened by climate change, particularly droughts.
