About Mummenhoffia alliacea (L.) Esmailbegi & Al-Shehbaz

Mummenhoffia alliacea has the scientific synonym Thlaspi alliaceum, and is commonly called garlic pennycress or roadside pennycress. It is a species of flowering plant in the family Brassicaceae. This species is native to central and southern Europe, as well as Anatolia. It has also been introduced to the United Kingdom and the eastern United States. It is an erect plant that usually grows 25 to 65 cm (10 to 26 inches) tall, and it is typically found growing on roadsides, in fields, and in other disturbed areas.
