About Moraea flaccida (Sweet) Steud.

Moraea flaccida (Sweet) Steud., commonly called the one-leaf Cape tulip, is a bulbous plant native to South Africa, where it grows in Fynbos habitats. Despite its common name, this species is not a true tulip of the family Liliaceae, and instead belongs to the iris family Iridaceae. It has established as a noxious weed in agricultural farmland across southern Australia, including parts of Western Australia, Victoria, and South Australia.
