About Monistria pustulifera (Walker, 1871)
Monistria pustulifera, commonly known as the blistered pyrgomorph, is a species of wingless grasshopper belonging to the family Pyrgomorphidae. It is endemic to Australia. This species is most frequently found on desert fuchsia plants of the genus Eremophila, especially Eremophila gilesii. It is also recorded feeding on garden plants including Buddleja, dahlias, honeysuckle, and privet.
