About Ministrymon clytie (Edwards, 1877)

Ministrymon clytie, commonly known as the Clytie hairstreak, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Lycaenidae. It was described by William Henry Edwards in 1877. Its range extends from southern Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas in the United States, south through Mexico to Guatemala and Costa Rica. Its habitat includes tropical forest openings and subtropical thorn forests. The larvae of this butterfly feed on plants of the Pithecellobium genus.
