Microtheoris ophionalis, commonly called the yellow-veined moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Crambidae. This species was first described by Francis Walker in 1859. Its distribution ranges from southern Canada, through the United States and Mexico, all the way to South America. The forewings of this moth measure between 5.5 and 7 millimeters in length. In the northern portion of its range, adult yellow-veined moths are active in flight from May through October.
