About Michauxia campanuloides L'Hér.

This species, Michauxia campanuloides L'Hér., grows from a rosette of basal leaves that are lanceolate in shape and lobed. Flowering stems grow from this rosette, reaching up to 2 meters in height; stems branch near their top, and hold numerous drooping flowers. The flowers are white with purple tinging, and have 8 to 10 long, narrow, reflexed lobes, plus a style that projects far outward from the flower bloom. It flowers between April and July, and grows in stony and rocky habitats.
