Metastelma arizonicum, which has the synonym Cynanchum arizonicum, is commonly known as Arizona swallow-wort or Arizona climbing milkweed. This plant is native to Arizona, New Mexico, and Sonora. It grows as a twining, herbaceous vine, and produces whitish to yellow flowers. It can be found growing on rocky slopes and in canyons within desert mountain ranges.
