Metalasia cymbifolia Harv. is a flowering subshrub belonging to the Asteraceae family. This species is endemic to the Western Cape, where it grows in the Kleinrivier Mountains and the Babilonstoring Mountains. It occurs at elevations between 200 m and 1900 m, and forms part of fynbos vegetation.
