Mesodina halyzia, commonly known as the eastern iris-skipper or halyzia skipper, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Hesperiidae. This species is endemic to Australia, where it occurs in the states of New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria. It has an approximate wingspan of 30 mm. The larvae of Mesodina halyzia feed on four plant species: Patersonia fragilis, Patersonia glabrata, Patersonia occidentalis, and Patersonia sericea.
