Meropleon diversicolor, commonly known as the multicolored sedgeminer moth, is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family. This species is found in North America, with confirmed records from Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Brunswick, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Quebec, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Its primary habitat is wetlands. The wingspan of this moth measures approximately 29 mm. Adult multicolored sedgeminer moths have been observed in flight from June through October, with the majority of sightings falling in August and September. The larvae of Meropleon diversicolor bore into sedges.
