Mamestra configurata Walker, 1856, commonly known as the Bertha armyworm, is a moth belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species occurs in western North America, including the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, the U.S. states of Washington, New Mexico, and California, as well as Mexico. When larvae reach full growth, they drop to the ground to pupate between mid-August and late August.
