Malva cretica Cav., commonly called Malva cretica, is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the Malvaceae family. It is native to Tunisia, Sardinia, Corsica, Sicily, Italy, Albania, Greece, the eastern Aegean Islands, Crete, Cyprus, and Turkey, and has been introduced to France. A subspecies, Malva cretica subsp. althaeoides, may occur in Spain.
