Malacothamnus jonesii (Munz) Kearney is a species of flowering plant belonging to the mallow family. This species includes three varieties. Two of these varieties are sometimes classified as full separate species: Malacothamnus gracilis and Malacothamnus niveus. Malacothamnus jonesii is endemic to California, where it is native primarily to San Luis Obispo County, with populations extending just over the county's northern and southern borders into Monterey County and Santa Barbara County respectively.
