Macrolepiota mastoidea (Fr.) Singer is a fungal species that reaches up to 15 centimetres (6 inches) in both width and height. Its cap is white, with brown scales concentrated in the center. The stem bears a ring and is enlarged at its base. This species occurs in Europe, where it can be found from August to November.
