Macbridea caroliniana (Walter) S.F.Blake is a species of flowering plant in the mint family. It has two common names: Carolina birds-in-a-nest and Carolina bogmint. It is one of only two species that belong to the genus Macbridea. While it has a wider distribution than the other species in the genus, Macbridea alba, it is still considered quite rare. This plant grows in the swamp forests of the Atlantic coastal plain. Its presence is formally documented in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. There are also unconfirmed, undocumented reports of it occurring in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.
