Lygodesmia aphylla (Nutt.) DC. is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is commonly known by the common names rose rush and rushweed. This species produces white, pink, or lavender flowers, and grows to a height between 1 and 3 feet. It is native to Florida and Georgia. It occurs in habitats that have deep, dry, loose, and/or gravelly soils, including Florida scrub, sandhill, pine flatwoods, and mixed woodlands. Lygodesmia aphylla attracts a wide variety of pollinators.
