About Ludwigia hirtella Raf.

Ludwigia hirtella Raf. is an erect perennial plant. Its leaves are alternately arranged, growing up to 10 centimeters long and up to 2.5 centimeters wide. Each of its flowers has four petals, which measure between 7 and 15 millimeters in length. The natural range of L. hirtella extends from New Jersey to Florida, and westward to Texas. It has been recorded growing in wiregrass-longleaf pinewoods, pine-saw palmetto flatwoods, and wet thickets.
