Loxostege allectalis is a moth species belonging to the family Crambidae. This species was first described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1877. Its distribution covers the United States, where it has been recorded ranging from southern California to Texas, and extends into Central America. The wingspan of adult moths is 21 to 26 millimeters. Adults of this species are active in flight from March through September. The larvae of Loxostege allectalis feed on Lycium berlandieri.
