Lomandra filiformis, with the scientific name Lomandra filiformis (Thunb.) Britten, is commonly called wattle mat-rush. It is a perennial herb that forms tussocks, and is native to Australia. This species is sparsely tufted, and produces strap-like leaves and yellow flowers. It grows in dry sclerophyll forest and grassy woodland, most commonly on well-drained rocky or sandy soils.
