Lobelia trigonocaulis F.Muell., commonly known as the forest lobelia, is a creeping or trailing herb that occurs in moist forest areas in New South Wales and Queensland, Australia. Its flowers are blue to mauve in color, and they develop between the months of December and May. The leaves are almost circular or ovate in shape, measuring between roughly 4.0 and 5.5 cm (1.6 to 2.2 inches) long, and 2.5 to 3.8 cm (0.98 to 1.50 inches) wide.
